I'm giving them three stars, but you have to understand why:
We're not fans of the regular food on the menu, but we *do* enjoy the pizza and garlic knots.
We loved them when they were still down on Fifth Ave and would often stop in just for a snack of garlic knots.
Now that they're up in our neck of the woods, we order takeout on a frequent basis.
The pizza is inconsistent as far as the thickness of the crust, which I find bizarre. Sometimes the garlic knots are a little too done, but they are generally always very chewy with the kind of garlic that will leave you skin oozing of the smell the next day, even if you brush your teeth twice. Now *THAT'S* a good garlic knot. I can easily make a meal on the garlic knots alone. Sooooo good.
Anthony at the bar recognizes my husband when he goes to get the order. He's always quite friendly. You pick up the takeout from the bar, and my husband says the bar is always full of a much older crowd (season or not) who always seem to want to watch the news.
